Sure, I can see that, though I'm no expert on Coldplay.

Ces't pas moi - the intro & backing track sound so much like a 70's disco song that I recognise but I can't remember what it is

I will start with a critic.
I'm a bit disappointed. Maybe due to my great expectations. :D
I love Interstellaires, Stolen Car and Insondables, though.

After the last 2 or 3 efforts, not that they were at all bad, I'm easily pleased.
I've even warmed considerably to Bleu Noir since the Timeless Tour 8-)
I love all the tracks but my highlights are Interstellaires, C'est par moi, Love Song, Pas d'access, I want you to want me, Voie lactee & City Of Love.
Strangely enough, maybe because I'm used to it, Stolen Car seems a bit out of place on the album but I'm not complaining.
To me, this is a class album, a different direction and a new Mylene.
I love it.

...something by Chic (Nile Rodgers, et al.) perhaps?

Martin Kierszenbaum has done a wonderful job with the production on these recordings. LB had very hypnotic programming, but this work is so solid and, I think, so mature musically.
Interstellaires, Pas d'access and City of Love are knocking me out. Drum kit sounds fabulous.
The comparison to Anamorphosee, for me, is the return to a more syncopated drum and bass line. Less straight dance beat when the kick drum was in straight time. Tasty guitar too. Not as "head down and slammin' " as Dahlgren, but great guitar sounds.
I think the odd track seems to be Stolen Car. I like it, but I keep skipping it to get on to the Kierszenbaum stuff.
Can't wait to get the list of players... AND the translations. Anyone have a handle on that yet?

For some reason we seem to have 2 threads going on the same subject - this is what I posted in the other one yesterday thinking it was the Interstellaires thread

On the contrary, I find Stolen Car totally in its place here.
